On Trend: Maybelline Holiday 2012 Collection

I was never really that much of a fan of trendy makeup. Okay --- I am not a fan of splurging for trendy collection-type makeup. Who knows when is the next time I'd like to wear purple or plum lipstick {though I very much want one now}?

I didn't realize drugstore brands had their own collections until I got a few samples in the mail from Maybelline, a collection I would've bought with my own money if only to educate my rather very safe palette these days. If anyone noticed at all, my makeup had been very un-adventurous and safe most days!

I have the pink coral palette and it's a delight to use {as you can see} =P

 

 Using Berry Brilliant for two days in a row now and I love I can feel like I am seen from 10 ft. away. =P

Very nice color payoff --- this week should afford me some time to experiment with some smokey looks!
