The Initialiste: A Review
My first thought on Kerastase's anti-hairfall product was something along these lines: Am I in the middle of a suspense thriller?

Transform your hair in 7 days with Initialiste. Our 1st skincare-inspired super serum that acts on the four attributes of total hair beauty:
1. Strength
2. Shine
3. Softness
4. Substance
The first thing to be understood about Kerastase's Initaliste is that it is intended to tend to the depleting scalp --- those which, like me, experiencing hair fall. Hair fall, as we know, is triggered by numerous factors such as diet, hormones, childbirth etc. At an average, an adult head contains 150,000 strands of hair. Hair loss should be at less than 200/150 a day, or else, serious measures should be taken. In my case, I shed about 50 a day {yes, I count!} so I take Biotin capsules every morning. Together with this, I've taken to use
Kerastase's Initialiste, a serum intended to moisturize the scalp, not the hair, to minimize hair loss.
Observations:
- Feels cold to the head when a pipette of the product is applied.
- No immediate hair growing effect, but I noticed that after a few days, there was less hair fall {which is less pagwawalis}.
- Not to be mistaken for a styling product, I believe the Initialiste acts more of a "skincare" for the scalp rather than an something to hold curls longer. I did notice that it straightens out frizz when applied.
- Hair does feel waaaaay softer after every use.

How to use:
- Apply a full pipette of serum onto the scalp lines and massage onto the head while blowdrying.
- Add necessary hair products if needed.
Price: USD 60 or PHP 3,000

Overall: There is nary a product that comes close to this hair care brand, when it comes to giving our crowning glory a dose of luxury. That said, it's hard to go wrong with Kerastase.
