What I Know For Sure: Happens for a Reason
A lot of things happened to me this week, I'd say I wish they didn't. However, you meet people who tells you and makes you realize that everything just had to happen for a reason. So this week, we lose grip on things we can't control and leave it be.
In other news, I started watching Orange is the New Black, finally and I am loving it, even more than I'm loving Mad Men. The story is about Piper Chapman, who was sentenced to 15 months of prison for delivering drug money 10 years ago for her lesbian ex lover. The series expounds on the stories of the women inside the Litchfield Prison in New York, how they came to be inmates.
The problem when I binge watch OITNB is that I end up acting as brashly as the women portray to be. I think that people in prison ought to act a certain way, if they want to survive. What a terrifying experience it must be. Have I told you how good the OITNB official song is too? Also, Regina looks a little bit like one of the characters, Morello.
Things I love this week: my church friend E finding her way to me on a day I needed spiritual guidance the most, bumping into a friend I wanted to see, meeting new people {always}, eating clean, gluten-free vegan food, finding comfort in yoga.
Taken at SUSI, a new vegan restaurant in Burgos Circle, BGC
This cream from Messy Bessy is such a joy to apply after yoga and OH, the smell! I love!
Absolutely in love with Kar Victoriano's little drawing of me :)
It's June tomorrow and officially half of the year. So much changes has been happening to me, and I do need to give myself a kick and start doing stuff in this list. Things are rather scary but so has been everything that was ever worthwhile in my life.
Happy Sunday!
