Now I'm in It

There’s a song by HAIM (aka my favorite girl group of all time) and it goes deep in being a cesspool of emotions one just cannot get out of. Kinda like not leaving the house - not doing anything passionately, maybe operating like a robot for some — a kind of depression if you think about it.

Now, I don’t take depression lightly — it’s not something anybody should joke about, though I haven’t been diagnosed myself. But when I look and watch that video — I do feel what it’s like. It feels like being in a drive through car wash. It feels like just going through motions.
