Sparkling with Nicole Romero of Beauty and Sparkle

Nowadays, beauty blogging has taken a back seat to my life. If you notice, I post more about my yoga life, later on will be about football, and being very busy living. Without intending it to, I've forgotten, albeit sometimes, to pay attention to details such as a berry hued lip, a perfect cat's eye and even waxing my legs {sssssh!}. It is in these times that I am extremely grateful for friends like Nicole, who always reminds me, however indirectly, that life can be more meaningful with sparkle, beauty and lots of positivity.

I met Nicole when we both became part of BDJBox.com, having interest in beauty as a common denominator. We've been great friends since and I am so happy that she is now transitioning to the digital world after having worked exclusively in print for over 9 years!

I’ve studied makeup professionally and spent years working as a beauty editor for several top magazines in the Philippines like Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, OK!, and Candy. Working with various brands and industry pros has trained me to become a beauty product connoisseur—so I only talk about what I like and what works. Of course, it’s not just about looking pretty on the outside. I’ll be balancing it out by sprinkling a bit of inspirational, feel-beautiful-on-the-inside stuff here, too.
