The Spa's Gentleman's Facial + Giveaway!
I'm not sure when was the last time men began to dip their hairy toes into the world of pampering and grooming but I'm sure glad they did. A friend commented that maybe, the reason why I'm not continually dating anyone is that I can't stand the way men smell and are inherently, well, hairy. I guess there's really not a lot of men who pay attention to their grooming but establishments like Felipe & Sons, Bruno's, and recently, The Spa.
I was telling Michelle of The Spa that I didn't realize they had a gentleman's facial until that day that I brought my friend Allan {who is single, if anyone's interested} to The Spa at Promenade.

The branch at Promenade was a welcome respite from the busy streets of Ortigas, Makati and The Fort. Before going into The Spa {I had the waterlily facial}, I walked around the area and took in the different vibe. Outside Promenade, I saw students studying for something, I wasn't sure. There were families gathering to grab a quick dinner before watching a movie. I felt relaxed almost immediately.

According to my friend, the gentleman's facial removed the dry spots on his face {probably due to the phytomer}, as well as the white heads and black heads. Unlike the services at SKIN, this facial does not involve the service of a dermatologist and has less pricking. As per Allan, his face was soft to the touch even after days since we had our facials.
The popular ginger tea is served, of course.
Verdict: Allan {and I!} recommend getting a facial every month, if possible. Men experience stress, too, get exposed to dirt, sweat and other harsh conditions, so it's nice to be pampered and facial-ed every now and then. If I can choose a boyfriend, it'll be nice to have someone who can come with me to the derma so that can be our date, too, ha! :D The facial helps in anti-aging, too, so if you're a man, do consider that.
