Missing my School Days

School days meant less worries. Back in the days, I only thought of passing [not really gunning for honors, bleh], having fun, my crushes, and looking good. I've been known to don a lipstick since junior kinder [tender age of 4], moved on to lipgloss in high school. Yes I'm not kidding. I've got a photo to prove it.

Little Me [circa 1990] wearing a red lipstick from Clinique, a nixed tube from my mother
And yes, it was me who applied it that's why it's lagpas.
This photo is 20 years old already, unfortunately, it wasn't preserved well :(

My college-graduate version. It's kinda weird looking at my jet-black-haired
self. It seems ages ago!
During this time, I was clueless with eye makeup and proper makeup
application. I was a powder and lipgloss girl, then.

Ahh. Good old days of worry-less existence. I can't believe it's just 10 more days before I hit my 24th year. Because my birthday is coming up, and in an attempt to channel my inner school girl, I decided to wear my plaid skirt and a turtleneck --- which reminds me of US private schools rather than the ones we have here. I remember seeing this ensemble on my stepsister who was then a student at one of the schools in Boston.

Excuse the dirty mirror + body fat.

Turtleneck: Promod, Greenbelt 5
Plaid Skirt: Marks and Spencer, Greenbelt 3
Heels: Charles and Keith, Greenbelt 5

I would have worn some opaque stockings and boots if it weren't too hot in this country. :(

The accessories:

Necklace and brass bracelet (not worn): City of Vintage
Rose Earrings and bangles (not worn): Chick Flick, BF Ruins, Paranaque

I hope you all are having a worry-less day today.
I am coping well with my body aches through Alaxan, my cure-all.

Happy Tuesday, ladies!
