Reasons to be Excited for 2010
A new year approaching means lots of exciting movies ahead! I, for one, am very excited to watch these! Enjoy!
When in Rome [Kirsten Bell, Josh Duhamel] Finally, Kirsten Bell does a rom-com with her in the lead. I totally loved her in Forgetting Sarah Marshall but of course, she was the villain in there. And besides, Josh Duhamel, Dax Shepard [who's so funny here, BTW] and Jon Heder and an awesome soundtrack, I can't wait!
Alice in Wonderland [Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter] I've been waiting for so long! I know I've seen this trailer at the beginning of this year and it's just awesome that of course, Mr. Depp will be playing the role of the Mad Hatter. Oh and Anne Hathaway's in it, too, as the White Queen!
Shrek Forever After, Who doesn't love Shrek, right?
Grown Ups [Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock] As always, Sandler's films will make you laugh hysterically for the first 1.5 hours, and have you sobbing before you know it.
Iron Man 2 [Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle]
It's Complicated [Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin] This was released on Christmas Day in the US, and of course, I'm pretty sure this will be released here in the Philippines by 2010 so technically.. You know the drill.
When social networking gurus coined the term "It's Complicated," they probably had in mind one of the most fitting relationship statuses ever thought of. In the movie [and as told to me by my mother who's excited to watch this], Streep's character is dating his ex-husband, Baldwin, while being married to Martin. Complicated, right?
Dear John [Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried] A Nicholas Sparks book is always an awesome movie. Add to that some Channing and you're good to go!
Leap Year [Amy Adams]
Youth in Revolt [Michael Cera] Michael Cera is just too adorable, yes? I think this is probably the third movie [first and second being Juno and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist] he's played a goody-two shoes who doesn't know a thing about sex and yet turns out to be a bad boy! and besides, he's soooo funny, I can't wait to watch this with my brother!
