OOTD: Her Name was Lola
But she ain't a showgirl.
When I first saw this top from Spanish brand, Zara, I immediately had thoughts of my paternal lola, Patricia {yes, her name is Patricia}because her photos from yesteryears showed her posing with my dad and his brothers in ruffly, Victorian-inspired tops such as this. Quite frankly, it took me a while to find a simple-enough bottom because it is such a busy top, with its lace neckline and eyelet sleeves.
And now I shall scare you with a close up photo of my ruffles and my hair without my face. Hehe. I look like a chaka doll.
This was my outfit last Monday, as inspired by too much Dorian Gray and because I had time to dig through my abyss of a closet. I hope I didn't scare you too much, lovelies!
Happy weekend!

That's how complicated the top is. Cuteness!
And oh, that's how the tips of my hair look like. See, no faded ends!
Thank you, L'oreal!
