To the girls with messy hair and thirsty hearts

Sometimes love means not being able to bear seeing the one you love the way you are, when they’re not what you hoped for them.

So begins a quote I stumbled upon Good Reads reviews of Jodi Lynn Anderson's Tiger Lily. It started as a post I saw on my Facebook feed which said: "For girls with messy hair and thirsty hearts." You could say I was hooked.

I couldn't help but be enthralled --- I wasn't a 'Wendy' type after all. Especially after finding out that Peter Pan's and Tiger Lily's story happened before Wendy Darling --- I knew I had to find myself a copy. And I did!

And if it does live up to its reviews, you know what my next book review will be.
