A Stylish Affair with Liz Uy and Happy Skin

There are not a lot of things anymore that excite me, makeup wise. I guess one can tell that I've come beyond my previous tastes, standards and norms. I kind of owe it to this blog as well, I never would have developed better taste if it weren't for this blog and its supporters. Lately, I've taken to a slower stance when it comes to blogging. I like blogging about introspective moments more, but when an exception happens, I am down for it.

There comes a point in a girl's life that she just needs time to celebrate being a girl. For a time, it kind of took a backseat to all other things in my life {additional responsibilities, etc.}. One afternoon, I decided to make time for it and celebrate my good friends' newest collection with Manila's It Stylist, Liz Uy.

For the launch, I wore my favorite fuchsia dress and my super high heels from Charles & Keith

Liz Uy believes that a lipstick is part of the wardrobe and I completely agree. The collection features a solid, matte red {Red Carpet}, a flattering peachy nude {Style Icon} and a bubblegum pink {24 Carats}. The whole set is available with the acrylic clutch for PHP 1,799 or the set in a leatherette case for PHP 1,499.

This collection fortunately delivers the same quality as its predecessors, retaining the moisturizing formula that glides on easily on the lips. I love the clutch, and the leatherette casing is not bad. My favorite so far is Style Icon, it's just amazing with fair skin!
