Morning

Grammy's is on somewhere across the other side of the world and I am back to my own square foot in the world for this particular hour, thinking of things that have been happening in life. I've no words, but I smile at the thought of it. I saw that Beck's Morning Phase won for Best Rock Album, and I remember my song for the day, Beck's Morning. After all, as I've heard from somebody, "Art is how you decorate space, music is how you decorate time." I'm having fun decorating my time lately.

I love my mornings :)

Woke up this morning, found a long light in the storm
Looked up this morning, saw the roses full of thorns
Mountains are falling, they don't have nowhere to go
The ocean's a diamond, that only shines when you're alone
Can we start it all over again this morning?
I lost all my defenses this morning

We've gone all around, 'til there's nothing left to say
We wore it all down, into something that couldn't be saved
We tore it all down, and buried me underneath the weight

I let down my defenses this morning
It was just you and me this morning
I've run all out of guesses this morning
