Things I Love Sundays: Hallelujah
I just came from a dizzying bumble of my birthday week, organizational pachinkoes and teaching responsibilities. I turned a year older this week, woot! And honestly, as honest I can be in this little corner of the internet that, my favorite gift was the wisdom that came with this age. It is true after all when they say you truly begin to give less f*cks after 30.
Not that I just say “F*ck you” more often now. In fact, I feel like I have cared more for some things now in this life stage. I cry for people stranded after hours and for drivers who can’t do anything with traffic. I cry from the everyday generosity of strangers. I cry at good things that happen. I cry at awesome literature and even greater music.
On Friday night, I finished this dizzying week with a glass of wine and reflections on my first week in my new age.
