A Piece of Personal Sunshine

Sometimes - the world just becomes gloomy no matter how bright and hard the sun may be shining.

Perhaps it’s the blur of days that pass by, the haphazard of speed of by which things go by - and yet — nothing really happens. I’m quite late to process New York Times’ word of the season — languishing — neither here nor there. I’ve yet to develop new dreams - ambitions - cos why else? It’s not like I could truly go out there or explore the world. But then again, I can be here and bask in the comfort of being with my loved ones, safe and abundant together. That truly is more than enough.

Gentle Hour Candle Co.’s newest collection is my own personal sunshine — I needed to find joys where I could - while also thinking that each of us have different happy places - the home, an island somewhere, being needed somewhere, in nature.

A ray of sunshine so sharp and bright it can pierce through
the darkest clouds. May or may not be a phrase from a favoritesong in the 90s. May also describe a most optimistic person alive.
