Foodie Post: Spicy Fingers

Spicy Fingers is a bar/restaurant located at Greenbelt 2, adjacent to Pepato and Temple. I remember during my college days, it was only Pepato and Temple that was there. The first time I went there was during my friend Cheena's fashion show for Amour. I didn't eat dinner there because I think it was around 11PM when I arrived, already full and wanting some cocktails. Heehee :x

Last Thursday, I thought that I was gonna be able to squeeze in dinnertime with the boyfriend. As he was supposed to pick me up, more work came up and we were stuck at my office and our programmer. I asked him if he wanted to have food delivered instead but he said no. I originally planned eating at Bubba Gump [another YUM restaurant in Greenbelt] but since it was late when we finished, I opted to eat at Spicy Fingers instead.

Since it was sooo late, we decided to get just the Braised Lamb Shank as entree, and the Deep Fried Fish in Beer Batter as appetizer. And boy, good thing we did!

I ordered the Ripe Mango Shake [P 130] and the BF ordered

a bottle of San Miguel Beer Premium [P 130].

Deep Fried Fish in Beer Batter [P 230] - good for two

Braised Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes and

Veggies [P 680]

The BF and I enjoyed our food so much -- considering we were on a gamble as none of us had eaten here before. I was glad to have not ordered so much. As it is, we were already stuffed midway into the lamb, which serving is SO big, anyway. And it was so tender! The mashed potatoes tasted YUM, too. They were authentic potatoes -- not the ones that come in powder and is instant.

Would I come back: Sure! I saw the cocktail list and it's long and well, I haven't had a lot of drinks in a long while.

Price Range: Reasonable. Most of the entrees are in the 400 - 500 bracket and it's not just for one person. :)
