Things I Love Sundays: Live an inspired life

Yesterday was a fabulous Saturday. And it had been a fabulous week, all in all.

It has been the first weekend since coming back to work this week and it couldn't have been more perfect. After a week of marry-ment, I returned refreshed and joyful. I was too joyful I continuously blurted out I was so happy. At some point of the week, I realized I had been bouncing off the floor. Vacations do really do one a lot of good.

Prayer and fasting played a major role in my week. It had been my first time to do it, too so it did come as a challenge. I got asked by friends why I was doing it and personally, and upon the guidance of the church I belong to, stripping one of the body's legitimate needs, one proves that he means business. In my case, I turned to God more, especially when I was hungry or feeling like I needed to eat even my body wasn't saying so.

Going on a fast made me more aware on so many things {who knew hunger could trigger a lot of realizations, huh}. It made me hyper aware of the surroundings, of people I was associating myself with, and knowing that made me conserve my energy.

Anyway. New year, new beginnings. I do feel like a new person since I left a lot of thoughts in 2013. Aren't you glad we all get new years every 365 days and have a completely legitimate reason for forgetting the past?

A grown up BDJ planner, my prayer and fasting booklet and colored pencils. These are all I need to plan the week, months and year to come.

A K-Pop themed party for the boss. Such fun!

Thank you for my new, floral teapot, BFF!

About Time | Best Movie of 2013

I was finally able to catch About Time, a British movie directed by Richard Curtis starring my favorite rom-com heroine of all time, Rachel McAdams.

The truth is I now don't travel back at all, not even for the day, I just try to live every day as if I've deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it, as if it was the full final day of my extraordinary, ordinary life.
Lesson Number One: All the time traveling in the world can't make someone love you.

About Time kicks Frozen's ass in my 'favorite movie of 2013.' I love it so much I might watch it again next year.

Lovely Saturday mornings <3

A stab at chalk lettering.

BDJ girl mornings <3 Spent a Saturday with the fabulous {peg-able} couple, PJ and Alessa of Life After Breakfast and I'm glad to have heard tips on how to envision our lives with lots of intention and how to put them up visually.

Sometimes.

Here's to another fabulous week ahead, lovely readers!
