On K-Beauty: CosRX Reviews

Oh, K-Beauty. Who doesn't lust over the perfect soft skin of Koreans spread all over our Facebook feeds, right? And for the life of my beauty blogging career, which is maybe by now, 9 years, Korean Beauty has always earned its holy grail status from women everywhere. For me though, my experiments have been confined to the makeup department for the most part, as some tend to be too cute and quirky for me until I found some brands that have worked on my skin. My friend Sophie have been telling me about CosRX for the longest time and so here I am, finally telling you how awesome it is.

I carted some bottles from The Skincare Curator one busy day at work. As an additional info, yes I do my online shopping in between stressful, long meetings so I get the full value of the experience, hence giving me 200% XP more {haha}, for the next 1-3 days. For this batch of online shopping, I hauled CosRX Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner, PHP 675, CosRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid, PHP 810, among other things.

Galactomyces Alcohol-Free Toner, PHP 610. I needed a toner because I was feeling like my skin was becoming dull from my rushed skincare routines and I just needed to be back in there and be inspired. Skincare routines every morning and evening make me super happy. However, ruts make me bored with my skincare so you get the drill

CosRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid, PHP 900. AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid includes apple water containing natural AHA and Glycolic Acid, cleans up the skin and relaxes pores with dead skin cell and other skin trouble, removing whiteheads in pores also. AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid clears off old dead skin cell inside the pores and works with vitamin, whiteners and natural moisturizer as treatment, to manage dead skin cell without stimulation, to help with management of skin making it healthier and more vital.

What I Think about These Two: I have to make a joint review because I used them both at the same time and most of the time, in sync with each other. Since I heard so many raves, I had this expectation that I'd be feeling the effect ASAP but I didn't. It took me maybe a month to truly see that I was glowing from the effect of the products, as well as the treatment and the vanishing of my whiteheads and some imperfections.

It doesn't really make me perfect but I love how I can once again go out makeup-less {save for eyebrow makeup hihi}. I'm so happy with CosRX I also decided to get the Galactomyces Whitening Essence, too, like NOW. I can't say how much impact it would cause if I stopped using one or the other but for now, I'm just happy using both as I do feel the antioxidants and diminishing of my whiteheads.

Directions: For the toner, soak a cotton pad and apply after cleansing. For the Power Liquid, apply after toning and let settle after a few minutes before applying serums or essences, to maximize effect.

Overall: Super in love with these two bottles, they've earned a prime spot in my bathroom skincare shelf!

CosRX Honey Ceramide Eye Cream, PHP 1,170 I was in need of a new eyecream and I wanted to get a Korean brand. I applied this both mornings and evenings and I find that it makes my eye area supple and smooth.

Will I buying again? I'm ok and happy with this but I feel like I want to try another new find or go back to an old favorite :)
