Getting to Know: Poise Makeup

Today I'll be sharing with you some delightful finds that found themselves in my hands over the last few weeks. To be honest, I don't create complicated looks anymore on a day to day basis, but when I do feel the need to prettify, so glad I'm armed with the right stuff!

Poise Makeup is a brand hailing out of Beverly HIlls and has been known to be used by celebrities in LA and all over the US, in shows like Glee and CSI New York, customized for dark, medium and light skin tones. More than just a high end brand, Poise is actually a pro brand {and it feels like one!}. Loved that I saw the word Mineral in the ingredients, too!

Poise Makeup Mineral Pressed Powder in 30, PHP 850. This looks heavy coverage on the pan but when used, it could actually be more buildable type of coverage, the shade was just right on me {I'm NC30 in MAC} I believe this can be used both dry and wet.

Poise Makeup Cheek Color in Malibu and Venice, PHP 850. This one is a big surprise when I applied Malibu on my cheeks, I gasped because it was so heavy! Actually that's kind of a good thing because color pay off is AWESOME. I had to tap my brush before the application so I don't end up looking like a clown. Loved that it was iridescent!

Poise Makeup Lipstick in Boca and Vintage, PHP 1,000/each. I've only used Boca so far and so cool it has no funny smell, glides on smoothly and is actually smack-proof!

Poise Makeup Eye Color, PHP 650/each. I trilled at the eyeshadows, maybe because I don't have colors like this in matte and it felt so pro, even bridal, to me. Coco is a fantastic crease color and Luv is a nice beige/taupe color for that overall base. LOVE IT.

Poise Makeup Lip Matte and Lip Shine, PHP 950 and PHP 1,250. Haven't really tried them both for usage but I've swatched them and they do feel promising!
